Crohn's disease
Crohn's Disease is an inflammatory bowel disease which causes inflammation in the small intestine. It normally occurs in the lower part of the small intestine, the ileum, but can affect any part of the digestive tract. The inflammation extends deep into the lining of the affected organ, causing pain and the intestines to empty regularly, thus causing diarrhoea.
